Bev Herrema

Bev’s passion is and has always been writing songs…in just about any genre that comes her way. She was awarded Iowa Young Composer of the Year in her 20’s, and has a master’s degree in choral music education. Her alt/rock song won Song of the Year at GMA’s annual IMMERSE event, and she’s had two #1 songs in Southern Gospel. In keeping with her love for variety, she has also been blessed with a hymn appearing in several hymnals, as well as songs in pop/classical crossover, choral print, CCM, and an upcoming Lillenas children’s musical named “Celebration Station”.

Bev lives in mile-high Denver, Colorado with her husband Scott. She is deeply grateful for their four children and their families, including priceless grandchildren who will always come first when she’s booking her writing schedule.
